Jeff Eaton guided OMP as Executive Director for over 14 years before his death in 2015. It was his idea to create a chamber music series featuring OMP musicians. By imagining, creating, and performing in small ensembles, they would have fun engaging listeners up close and honing the skills necessary for the uniquely soloist demands of every OMP concert. The series Jeff created ended each performance with chocolate desserts. Our new Jeffrey Eaton Chamber Music Series honors this legacy of our treasured mentor and friend, and it allows us to remember his many gifts to OMP: his talent, his selflessness, his generosity, his infectious smile, and ultimately, even his cello.
