Sabine Voelker is a junior at South Eugene High School and has been studying with Lillie Manis (Willamette Violin Academy) since the age of four. She has been recognized in state-wide competitions with both violin and viola, and last summer she was selected to play viola with the national youth orchestra NYO2 in New York and Dallas, Texas. Sabine enjoys ensemble musicianship; she has participated with the chamber program at the Community Music Institute for several years and is co-founder of Celeste String Quartet. Recently, she was a soloist with the Eugene Springfield Youth Orchestras, and she is is a member of their Youth Symphony. She has also been invited to participate in professional performances with Emerald Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra NEXT. In her spare time, Sabine practices martial arts and enjoys exploring other musical instruments.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be? The ability to freeze time so I can get everything done.

If you could have an extra hour of free time every day, how would you use it? Sleeping and catching up with homework.
