Earl Lee to debut with notable symphonies

Earl Lee, who will serve as guest conductor at Comfort Food, OMP’s upcoming concert on February 26, has added a few stops on his way to Eugene. As part of its annual Lunar New Year Gala concert, this year on February 8, 2022, the New York Philharmonic is hosting Earl Lee in his conductorial debut with the orchestra. The concert will also feature soprano Hera Hyesang Park and violinist Stella Chen, who will also be making her debut with the orchestra.

Later in the month, on February 17-19, 2022,  before he leads the helm with OMP, Earl Lee will also be making his debut with the San Francisco Symphony in three special subscription concerts which commemorate the late conductor Michael Morgan.

These two recent announcements compliment Earl Lee’s already impressive career. He is currently the Assistant Conductor of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, but has appeared with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, New Japan Philharmonic, Gangnam Symphony Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, among many others.
